Professor Eunice Kamaara Karanja, Moi University, Kenya
Eunice Kamaara, is Professor of Religion at Moi University, Kenya and International Affiliate of Indiana University Purdue University, Indianapolis (US). She holds a PhD in African Christian Ethics and MSc. in International Health Research Ethics. Her research expertise is in interpretive methods with trans-disciplinary perspectives to religion, gender and health in contemporary Africa. She is particularly interested in translating research findings into practical development through policy influence and community research uptake. She is widely published with over 100 publications, and has consulted in research for national and international organizations including but not limited to the World Bank, Church World Service (CWS), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and the Templeton World Charity Foundation Inc. (TWCF). Eunice currently serves as Director of Church World Service and is a member of the Ethics Review Board of Medecines San Frontieres.
